Subsides
Divers fonds et programmes de soutien permettent à l’ASSM – souvent en collaboration avec des fondations privées – d’encourager la relève scientifique et la recherche biomédicale et clinique. Lorsque l’affectation des fonds n’est pas définie dans le cadre d’un legs, ceux-ci sont destinés à des domaines de recherche importants pour la médecine et le système de santé, mais encore peu établis.

Fonds Théodore Ott
Le règlement d’affectation du Fonds Théodore Ott a été révisé en 2022 pour mieux soutenir la relève dans le domaine de la recherche fondamentale en neurologie. Un subside national MD-PhD en neurosciences est financé chaque année par le Fonds Ott, pour autant que les rendements du Fonds le permettent.

Swiss Personalized Health Network
À la demande de la Confédération, l’ASSM dirige la mise en œuvre de l’initiative «Swiss Personalized Health Network» (SPHN) en collaboration avec le SIB Institut suisse de bioinformatique. SPHN contribue au développement, à l’implémentation et à la validation d’une infrastructure coordonnée, afin de rendre les données de santé interopérables et partageables pour la recherche en Suisse. En 2023, aucune mise au concours n’a été organisée. Il n’y a donc pas eu de nouveaux octrois.
