Health Services Research in Switzerland – what’s next?

During the last five years, the Bangerter-Rhyner Foundation has supported health services research in Switzerland through a funding programme of the ASSM with a million Swiss francs per year. This allowed the development of a research field of increasing importance which has only received sparse funding to date. This support will reach its peak with the ongoing NRP 74. However, future funding opportunities, beyond the first successful programme and NRP remain unclear. The 2017 symposium thus proposes to look back – by presenting successful projects of the past five years – and forward to future perspectives within the NRP 74 and beyond.
