Prize Théodore Ott
The Prize, founded in accordance with the will of the physician, Théodore Ott (1909-1991), Professor of Neurology in Lausanne, will be awarded to researchers or research-groups who have made particularly outstanding achievements in the field of basic research in neurosciences. Preference will be given to Swiss researchers or research groups working in Switzerland.Normally the Théodore Ott-Prize is announced once every five years with a prize sum of CHF 50'000.–.
Submissions for the Théodore Ott-Prize shall be presented to the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences in English, German or French. They should consist of a curriculum vitae (or curricula vitae in case of research groups) and a two-page outline in English, which clearly explains the significance of the work for the advancement of basic research in neurosciences. This is to be accompanied by a maximum of six relevant publications not older than five years and a listing of all other publications.
Next deadline for submission is August 31, 2012.
